REGISTRATION

The cost of the conference is $55 per delegate (including chaperones). This fee includes the conference, the festivities at Hyles-Anderson College on Wednesday evening, and five meals: dinner on Tuesday, as well as lunch and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. There is a $10 discount per delegate for those who register during the month of April and a $5 discount per delegate for those who register during the month of May.

GROUP REGISTRATION

Group registration will begin on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. There is a $10 registration fee per delegate, which is part of the total cost. Payment must be made at the time of registration. The balance is due by Wednesday, June 26. You may register online at www.fbchammond.com. Group registration requires numbers only, not names; forms for delegate information will be e-mailed to the group leaders closer to the conference.

GENERAL INFORMATION


The conference will end after the evening service at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. Teenagers must be going into 7th grade or higher to attend sessions. Nurseries and childcare are not provided. All sessions will be interpreted for the deaf and translated into Spanish upon request. Young men are not permitted to wear warm-ups, shorts, or tank tops at any time. Young ladies are not permitted to wear pants, walking shorts, or sleeveless or see-through tops at any time. The dress code for sessions at the church is casual “Wednesday night church” clothing, but no blue jean material for men or ladies. Blue jeans and blue jean skirts/culottes are appropriate to wear at the college on Wednesday evening..

GENERAL INFORMATION

Delegates must provide their own transportation and accommodations. Log on to www.conferences.fbchammond.com for vehicle rental and hotel suggestions. When making hotel reservations, better rates may be available when calling the hotel property directly and mentioning that you are attending an event at First Baptist Church of Hammond. Space in the dormitories at Hyles-Anderson College is available on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. The cost to stay in the dorms is $7 per person per night, and one chaperone of the same gender for every seven teenagers is required to stay in the dorms as well. The dorms are available Monday through Thursday night. If your group will be traveling by airplane, we will be glad to meet you upon request and transport you to First Baptist Church once we have received your itinerary.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

All sessions this year will be held in the Jack Hyles Memorial Auditorium. The conference will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July16. NEW THIS YEAR! Split session for Single Young Adults hosted by Bro. Eddie and Mrs. Jamie Lapina. Split sessions will also be held for teen girls with Mrs. Linda Wilkerson and Mrs. Zaida Torres and for teen boys with Bro. Randy Dignan.

Wednesday evening will include food, games, and fireworks on the campus of Hyles-Anderson College. The following competitions will also be held on the college campus for that evening: Boys’ Preaching, boys’ 3-on-3 Basketball, Girls’ Volleyball, Group & Solo Singing, and Solo Piano

There is a flat fee of $25 per church, regardless of the number of categories selected. Only one entry per category from each church is permitted. All competition entries must be preregistered by Wednesday, July 10. No teams will be permitted to enter a competition after July 10 or at the conference.
